  • PeopleSoft Programmer/Analyst Hastings, MN  Full Time

    Position Summary:

     

    This position will be responsible for direct technical and functional

    support of the Finance and HRMS PeopleSoft modules of our systems. This

    person will be partnering with department managers and end users in the

    analysis, design, fit/gap analysis, implementation, and support of

    Information Systems that are in direct support of company strategic

    goals. This position requires interaction with both technical and

    development staff in IT, as well as with a broad base of functional

    users and managers. This person will play a key role in the upgrade of

    our PeopleSoft Enterprise Systems to version 8.9.

     

    Required Skills:

    Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft V 8.x Financials(Cost

    Management) and HRMS modules.

     

    Proficiency in Application Engine, SQRs, PeopleCode, and SQL.

     

    Solid Understanding of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).

    PeopleSoft upgrade experience.

     

    Project Management experience is preferred.

     

    General Responsibilities:

    Systems Development

    Requirements definition, specifications, development, testing, and

    implementation of system modifications.

     

    Production Support

    Investigation of software application-related problems and high-level

    database manipulation (using SQL) in our PeopleSoft Finance and HRMS

    Systems.

     

    User Support

    Primary user support for Peoplesoft Manufacturing and/or Distribution

    Project Management

    Coordinate all IS tasks/resources in support of key business projects.

    Upgrades Perform systems analysis, conduct I.S. fit/gap analysis and

    test HRMS and Finance vendor supplied upgrades to the system.

     

    Education / Experience:

    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Business Administration/Finance

    Person should have 3-5 years or more experience in PeopleSoft HRMS and

    Financial Systems. Experince in all phases of PeopleSoft upgrades,

    implementations, and customizations.

    Hands on technical knowledge of SQRs, Peoplecode, PeopleTools, and

    Our client is a  leading producer of fuels, base oils for lubricants, and other petrochemical and commodity products

     Position Summary

    • Manage single and multi-craft maintenance reliability projects ranging from $25 to $500K.

    • Management includes identifying all safety and environmental concerns and addressing the ability to construct, the ability to operate, the ability to maintain the system and project controls (cost, procurement and scheduling)

    • Required to work with specifications in reviewing design packages or in preparing design packages and plans for pipe-fitter, boilermaker, insulation and civil construction as well as coordinate the preparation and review of instrumentation and electrical portions of the projects.

     Position Summary

    • Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and recommend corrective actions on instrumentation that has failed.

    • Scope corrective actions on equipment to be found deficient.

    • Participate in the development of maintenance strategies and otherwise provide the instrument engineering technical reliability centered maintenance support for major equipment.

    • Provide oversight for acceptance testing of hardware and software for new DCS or PLS's installations.

    • Oversight of field construction, verification of proper installation, perform loop checks and the oversight of final commissioning of instrumentation associated with capital or maintenance projects.

    Required skills include:

    • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.

    • Complete understanding of the engineering documents associated with instrumentation such as: P& ID's, loop sheets, specification sheets, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, installation detail drawings, etc.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Provide technical judgment, consultation, and leadership through significant contribution and by leading others to solutions of complex technical problems. Design refrigeration compressors and pursue new developments in engineering and

    manufacturing technologies. Plan and manager projects associated with refrigeration compressor design responsibilities.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical leadership to improve the reliability, durability, quality, performance, and value of CC/TK compressors and components.

Responsible for the CC/TK compressor drawings, documentation, and design specifications.         Coordinate team interface and communications with manufacturing, supply management and component manufactures to develop necessary tooling for manufacture of castings, machined components, and assemblies.

Direct appropriate analytical and test methodology to insure that components and compressors meet product group and customer requirements.

Provide technical support to manufacturing, field service, supply management, product management, and systems & application departments regarding refrigeration compressors and components.

Provide technical direction/support toward the best solutions to customer needs and problems. Provide input for technology review and planning efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  DIRECTOR OF FLEET OPERATIONS

 JOB PURPOSE 

This position is responsible for the design, communication and implementation of company vehicle programs to support the strategic plans and needs of the workforce. This position is responsible for specification of vehicle standards, contract negotiations, acquisition, maintenance and operations guidelines, purchasing equipment and parts, cost control, and final disposal of all vehicles nationwide.  This position is also responsible for overall Fleet Safety and Compliance and other Federal and State transportation related compliance including OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.

 

Essential Job functions

1.       Create annual selector list of company vehicles, project costs and establish employee personal use rates.  Monitor compliance with IRS regulations and Company staff procedures.               

 

2.       Contract/agreement negotiation with manufacturers, lessors and vendors.           

 

3.       Develop and communicate Fleet policies.        

 

4.       Draft updates to Fleet Manuals and monitor conformance to program.   

5.       Manage process that will ensure that proper control is exercised on all expenditures for uses of vehicles, repairs and replacements.   

6.       Provide management and locations with special analysis or reports covering any aspect of the program upon request.

7.       Implement and manage systems to ensure that proper disposal strategies are used to gain highest resale value possible.        

8.       Hire, train, supervise, counsel, terminate, promote and make salary adjustments for Fleet Administration staff. 

9.       Responsible for compliance with all Federal and State regulatory agencies: OSHA, EPA, DOT, ICC, etc.  Assures that the fleet operates in compliance with all County, State and Federal regulations.

10.     Manage process to maintain vehicle titles and licensing for all company owned vehicles.       

11.     Monitor fuel and lubricant purchasing and usage.  

12.     Analyze cost accounting reports and make recommendations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operations.  

13.     Prepare Fleet Management budget and objectives.  Implements, controls and monitors budget.        

14.     Make recommendations on parts purchased, brands used and commercial work performed.     

15.     Develop and administer vehicle safety programs to prevent accidents, employee injury and vehicle down-time.  

 

Minimum Qualifications

  •  

  • Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree preferred with eight to ten years experience in the automotive/fleet management industry. 

  • Five years of recent and progressively responsible administrative and supervisory experience in fleet management and maintenance, or equivalent capacity of a fleet of at least 500 vehicles.

 

Experience

Eight to ten years of experience with fleet management and operations to include procurement and maintenance knowledge

 

Specifically

  • Ability to research, analyze, select, recommend and implement vehicle standards for nationwide application.

  • Ability to effectively negotiate complex leases and contracts.
