Founded in 1987 by Michael T. Spano, Tribeca Ltd. provides IT consulting, staffing, and business intelligence (BI) solutions to clients throughout the United States. Its group assists clients in BI tool selection and offers clients a strategic business partner and expert implementer in business intelligence, data warehousing, data integration, and information quality.

In October 2006, Tribeca Ltd. became an Information Builders InfoElite Partner because of our BI technology expertise. Tribeca's client, Plus Relocation Services of Minneapolis, a global executive relocation service, required a better method of accessing, analyzing, and delivering data to its customers, customer support personnel, and executive management. Tribeca assisted Plus in establishing clear business goals for its BI solution, including:

  • Deploying a reporting solution that has connectivity to multiple disparate databases
  • Creating a single sign-on within the company's web portal
  • Providing customers with better analytics with charting and graphing capabilities
  • Enabling executives with the ability to have ad hoc query and analysis
  • Implementing dashboards to track key performance indicators

Based on these needs, Tribeca recommended WebFOCUS as the solution of choice. According to Spano, a key factor in this recommendation was Tribeca's strong working relationship with Information Builders, as well as the accessibility of local Information Builders offices, account executives, and technical managers. "WebFOCUS is just easier to learn and implement," says Spano. Implementation began in October 2007.

Spano has developed a valuable working relationship with Information Builders Executive Account Managers Bill Finnegan and Mary Gibb.
